Compass and Boat Heading
Two icons help determine the orientation of the DIDSON. The top icon shows the beam direction relative to a boat shape. The beam has increased green when the sonar tilts down and increased red when the sonar tilts up. The bottom icon gives the magnetic heading of the sonar as well as a white horizon line that indicates roll and tilt.
